A Three Year Old

Landon and I have many strange and peculiar conversations throughout the day so I thought that I would share a few of them with you.

While we were walking upstairs for our naps
Landon: You have boobs
Me: Yup
Landon: I don't, I have nipples

When I was leaving Landon's room tonight I was shutting the door and I heard him say
Mom, when someone throws the ball really hard then I will kick it really hard.

While eating dinner the other night
Landon: Knock Knock
Me: Who's there?
Landon: Trick or Treat, Merry Christmas, HAHAHAHA!!!

I think we need to work on our jokes.

Sometimes I wonder what is going on in that brain of his.  He sure knows how to make us laugh though, and is truly a joy to be around.  I love this three year old.

Black Island Farms

This year we went with Aaron's family to Black Island Farms to pick our pumpkins and have some Halloween fun.
There were some giant pumpkins that were as big as the kids.
 Our 3 little pumpkin heads
Ethan had a fun time sitting by his cousin Zach while riding out to the pumpkin patch.
Ethan and Aurora both claiming their pumpkins.

Landon decided he wanted a little green pumpkin.  He was so excited to take the tractor ride out to the pumpkin patch so that he could finally get his pumpkin.
Ethan picked a huge pumpkin so he needed some help getting it back to the tractor.  Luckily for us the guy who worked there was willing to carry it back while Aaron was helping Landon with his pumpkin.
Lily slept the whole time we were in the pumpkin patch.  She was a really good baby and loved sleeping in my arms.  My arm was ready to fall off by the time she woke up, but it was totally worth it.

We also had a fun time in the corn mazes.  Uncle Nathan helped us weave through all the corn so that we wouldn't get to lost.

Landon was such a trooper all day.  We thought that he just had a cold, but he really had strep and was running a high fever by the time we made it home.  Poor little guy.  Once we made it home it was apparent that we needed to see his Doctor and headed straight over to get him some medicine.

There were lots of hay bail slides at the farm and also this really high pipe slide.  Ethan was his typical brave self and went down multiple times all by himself.  I am so amazed every day at what this kid is capable of and can do.
We had such a fun afternoon with our extended family and can't wait to do it again next year.

Sleep

I am a sleeper.  I love to sleep in, take an afternoon nap, and go to bed early.  I am so very lucky that all my kids have been great sleepers.  Ethan was still taking a nap half way through kindergarten.  Landon is such a good boy to take a nap every afternoon, usually in his bed, which gives me time to get something done or take a nap myself.  Lily pretty much goes back to sleep about an hour after getting up from a nap.  I sure do love these beautiful sleeping kids.

Grandparents Day

Ethan's class had a Grandparents day program with singing, reading, and making a special gift for their Grandparents.
Both of Ethan's Grandparents were not able to come, so Aaron, Landon, Lilly and I decided to go.  It was so fun to see Ethan and his class sing in Chinese and English.  He read us a great story about pigs and colored a cute book mark.  It was a fun afternoon.  I hope his Grandparents can come next time and see how amazing this boy is.

So Loved

This is one of my most favorite things to see and we sure do see it a lot these days.  The boys love to be with their little sister.  She also loves to be with them.  They are so cute together.  She is always tracking them when they walk into a room and is always waiting for them to smile at her.  Whenever you want Lily to laugh just have Ethan or Landon near, she thinks they are hilarious.
So very blessed!

4 Months

I can't believe our little baby girl is already 4 months old.  She is so sweet and loves to smile and laugh.  We all love to see her face light up with a smile so we are always trying to get one out of her.
If Lily isn't hungry she is happy.  She is truly a joy to be around.  We are so glad to have her in our family.
4 Month Stats
Weight: 12.3lbs, 25%
Height: 25 inches, 75%
Head Circ: 15.6 inches, 15%

So far Lily is still lean and long, but you wouldn't think that by looking at her adorable checks and legs.  Not a day goes by that I don't thank my Heavenly Father for this little girl.  It took so long to get her here and we sure are blessed to have her in our lives.
