Phoenix Zoo

This past weekend Ethan, LaLa (Lizzy), and I traveled down to Phoenix to be with my family. We did the drive in two days so that Ethan would do a little better. Aaron purchased me a portable DVD player, which I said I would never get, and it truly was a life saver.
Monday we went to the Phoenix Zoo. It was tons of fun. Grandpa or papa, as Ethan calls him, was nice enough to push him around in the stroller. We saw tons of animals like, giraffes, lions, tigers, zebras, turtles, bears, rino's, and many birds and other animals.

It was getting pretty hot so we got snow cones, and an italian ice for Ethan. He really liked it, and LaLa's snow cone turned her lips and teeth blue. The Phoenix Zoo also has a great place where the kids can play in some water. Ethan loved it and his Aunt LaLa was so nice to help him be a little more brave. Thanks Lizzy.

Thanks Mom and Dad for taking us to the Zoo. We had a Blast and can't wait to do it again.

Pre-Easter Fun

This Easter has been tons of fun. Ethan is old enough now that he understands most of what is happening. Mike and Denise invited us over to their house Saturday morning for an Easter egg hunt. They let the little kids go first and then the older kids got to come in. It worked out really nice that way. Ethan had a fun time running around picking up eggs.

It was very cold on Saturday, so Aaron decided to use Ethan's blanket to keep himself warm.

There were also mini donuts to eat. Ethan loved the powdered donuts, and pounded 3 in a row.
Ethan and Aurora kept trying to give each other high 5's. It was totally cute. He loves his cousins.
Thanks again Mike and Denise for putting everything together and inviting us. We had such a wonderful time.

Vapor Bath

Ethan has had a spring cold. The typical runny nose, and barking cough. It is so sad when he isn't his typical silly self. His sitter, Wendy, gave us some Johnson & Johnson soothing vapor bath. It is so nice. It gives him time to become uncongested and breathe normal for awhile. I also tried it, because I have been feeling a little under the weather and it was wonderful. Everyone should have this on hand.
Ethan loves to play in the water as it is running out of the faucett.

Great food, wonderful company, and the joining of two amazing people. Here are some pictures of the night.

Lizzy, or LALA was there enjoying the delicious desserts.

Big Project

Aaron is working on burying our down spouts and putting in a 3rd sump-pump. It has been a huge job and things haven't really worked out as planned, but hopefully it will all get done in the long run. Ethan has really enjoyed playing in the huge dirt piles and throwing the dirt at the dog.

So we are hoping that with all this work we will never have any water problems again.
