July 4th, 2009

We had a wonderful 4th of July this year. I decided to host the party again, and I thought that it went very well. We had wonderful food, and fun games. Thanks to everyone for pitching in and bringing something.
For our entertainment Joe brought his water balloon launcher and it was a blast.












The kids loved playing with the water balloons, and Ethan even took a turn launching a balloon.
Lizzy pushed Ethan around in his car while we were waiting for it to get dark.









Ethan loved the fireworks this year, but when it was over he was ready to go to bed. He sure had a great time playing with his cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Thanks for the wonderful memories. We hope you all had as much fun as we did.

Practice

Aaron is going to hike down the Grand Canyon with my Dad in September so he has started training. We have this backpack that we can put Ethan in and he loves it. He calls it his pack-pack. This morning every time he saw the back pack he asked if he could get in it. It has been tons of fun taking a walk every night. It is also nice that Aaron gets to carry Ethan, and all of our water bottles and I get to walk and enjoy the conversations.

Coloring fun

This summer I have tried to think of some fun things to do outside. Ethan loves to color, so what better place to draw a masterpiece then our driveway. Aaron blessed us with his skills by drawing his beloved teams logo. It was a fun evening.

Happy Birthday

Ethan had his birthday about a week ago. It was such a nice day. We went to our local park, had sandwiches, fruit, pasta salad, and of course cup cakes.

My little baby is not a baby anymore. He is truly a little man. He wants to do everything on his own. He loves to play at the park, and go swimming with his friend Coleson. They are so cute together. They laugh and run around the playground together. It is so nice that he has such a good friend to play with.


Ethan loves buses, tractors, and motorcycles. His Uncle Dan was nice enough to let him and his Daddy sit/ride on it.


He loves to talk to his Daddy, Grandparents, LaLa, and KaKaK on the phone. It is pretty funny to see him on the phone because he paces the hall like his mama.

Ethan has great manners he is always saying thank you and most of the time please. It is pretty cute to hear a little voice saying those things to you, it just melts my heart.

Ethan's favorite movie is Disney's BOLT. We watch it at least once a day, and if he had his way it would be two or three times. It has all the things he loves: puppies, kitties, and things being blown up. What else could a little boy ask for.
We are surprised daily at the things that he is learning. We love you Ethan and are blessed to have you in our lives.

Nuggle Daddy

This is Ethan's favorite thing to do. He always asks to "nuggle' with daddy. Aaron loves to snuggle with his little man. Ethan truly loves everything about his daddy and who could blame him. Hey Daddy, when is it my turn to nuggle? :)

Public Announcement

We would like to announce that we are having another baby. Aaron and I are very excited. This pregnancy has been very different from my first one. I am not really sick, so I am still able to function and play with Ethan. We are about 11 weeks along and are due Nov. 30th.
I think I am more nervous this time around, but hopefully things will be ok. Thanks for all the love and support through all the crazyness to get this baby, we have truly been blessed.
