21 Months

It is strange to think that Ethan is 21 months. He is growing up so quickly that I thought I would share some of the things he has been doing. At 21 months I am surprised every day at the things he is learning. He loves to sing. He was singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star today at the grocery store and this lady was so surprised that it sounded like the song and she could actually understand the words. We know when he is very happy because he just starts to sing. It is so cute!
He is counting, and says many words. He still loves his cars, trucks, and my exercise ball.
He loves to eat french toast, quesadillas, chicken nuggets, pizza, string cheese, cottage cheese, raisins, and watermellon. Ethan is pretty much up to trying any new food like today we made tortilla sandwiches for dinner and when I was done cutting the cucumber he picked it up and just started eating it. It made me laugh so hard. I never tried a cucumber until I was about 17. He must get it from Aaron who likes just about everything.
Ethan we love you so much. You make us laugh and smile all the time. Keep exploring and enjoying your childhood.

A Boy and His Toys

Ethan has about a gazillion toys. I seriously don't know how we got so many. He loves to play with them all, but his new favorite toy is his Daddy's train track set. Aaron had it when he was a little boy and Ethan loves to play with it now. Last weekend his grandpa played with him and his trains for hours. Thanks Grandpa for making your little grandson so happy.

February Snow

On Tuesday we had another huge snow storm here in Utah. Ethan loves to go outside, even when it is freezing. We put him in his snow suit and tryed to help Daddy. Ethan had a great time running around and playing with Max.

Be Mine

We had a wonderful Valentines day. Ethan got some valentines from his sitter Wendy and also some cousins. We were also blessed to have La La and my parents here this past weekend. It was so much fun being with them.
My mom and I made an Angel food cake from scratch, and Lasagna for dinner. It was very tasty.

Ethan, his friend Jenna, and I also decorated heart shaped cookies to give to our neighbors and to eat. Ethan had fun eating the frosting and shaking out the sprinkles. He gets that from his daddy:)

Little Helper

This is my little helper. Ethan loves to help me do just about everything around our home. When Ethan was about 3 months we went to Phoenix to see my family and my Mom would always have Ethan help her take out the trash. Then when we went back 3 months later she would have him help her again. I guess he caught on, because he loves to take out the trash. He also loves to help me cook. At first I thought this would be more of a hassle having him try to help me, but I have really enjoyed it. I just hope that he continues to help his mama.
