Sandbox Fun

On warm Sunday nights, before the mosquitoes come out to eat us alive, the kids love to go into the sandbox and carve out mountains and valleys in the sand.  They fill the areas around them with water from the hose.
Aaron helps the kids build big lakes and rivers.
They all love to play in the mud and be with their Daddy.

Ethan and Landon are great at making little villages and castles in the sand.

I love to see them playing together and having such a wonderful time outside.

Fall Soccer 2014

Ethan had a busy fall season with sports.  During the beginning of Football he also had soccer games.  We love our kids to participate in sports so that they can get exercise, learn how to work with other kids, and develop different skills.
Ethan is really becoming a great soccer player.  He is a very fast runner and is becoming better at controlling the ball.  It is so exiting to see him break away from the pack and help his team.

He will play soccer again in the spring with this same team and we will be there to cheer him on.  We love you Ethan and can't wait to see all the amazing things that you accomplish.

Summer Helpers

Saturdays seem to be a crazy busy day for us, which I bet they are for most people.
There are always inside chores to do, outside projects to get done and sports to attend for the kids.
This particular Saturday Aaron was working on laying weed barrier and mulch down in the backyard flower beds.  Whenever Aaron is home the kids want to be right with him.
Aaron is always so nice to share his Gatorade with the kids.
Lily loves to be outside with the big kids
Look at that handsome boy.  I still can't believe how big he is getting, he is such a great helper.
Who needs clothes when is it a hot summer morning?  Not this girl, just a diaper and flip flops please.
The kids helped Aaron and as always asked a million questions while they worked together.  Even though this usually makes the working slow it is so fun to get a little glimpse of what is going on in those minds of theirs.

Football Season

This was Ethan's first season playing football.  He did such an amazing job and it was so fun watching him learn and grow in the sport.  Ethan had amazing coaches that taught the boys plays and how to support their fellow teammates.
Landon and Lily were so great to come and support their big brother every Saturday.  We would usually pickup lunch and put out our lawn chairs and cheer for the team.

Ethan learned how to play in special teams and also as a 40 back.  He was the youngest and also smallest on the team, but that never stopped him from trying his hardest.  It was the cutest thing to see the boys slap each other on their helmets and cheer for each other.
Aaron was in charge of recording all of the games so that the coaches could review them and make changes and improvements.  It was really great to see how dedicated the coaches were to helping the boys grow and develop their skills in football.
We were so proud of our number 29 football player and can't wait to watch and support him next season.  Wow, they sure do grow up fast.
