Cooking Dinner

I have to say that cooking dinner has to be one of the hardest things I do. It is mostly difficult because Ethan knows exactly when I am about to start and he begins his "whineing" and tonight was no different.
I was making sloppy joes (YUM) and Ethan was trying to wedge himself between me and the oven, so I did what any good mother would do. I tried to distract him!
ME: "Ethan, where is your shoe?"
Ethan: Looking down and then bending completely in half and pointing to his shoe.
Me: "Ethan, where's your shoe?"
Ethan again bending completely in half and pointing to his shoe.
Me: "Ethan, where is your sock?"
Ethan: Plops himself on the kitchen floor, pulls up his pant legs and points to his socks.
What a smart kid! After that he proceded to find my shoes and bring them to me, what more could a mother ask for :)

Hahahaha Alice you are hilarious. I love reading your blog! Ethan is smart...he gets it from his parents! And I totally know what you mean...how he squishes himself between you and the oven. Haha, he must be hungry!!
