Christopher Creek

 While in Phoenix this summer we decided to get out of the heat for a day and head up to Christopher Creek.  Mom and Dad were so nice to arrange the cabins and treat us to a fun evening and afternoon.

 The boys had a great time with Grandpa in the morning crossing the river and trying not to get wet.  

 Lily was such a good baby and slept till 8 am.  It was so nice.

 The boys had a blast throwing rocks into the river/creek.

 There were some fun places for the kids to play.  A mini house, and some old fashioned playground equipment.

Lily was in heaven snuggling with Grandma while the boys ran around and played.

Thanks Mom and Dad for such a fun time.  We will have to do it again soon.

Children's Museum

 One of our favorite places to go in Phoenix is their Children's Museum.  They have so many places to play and explore.  This time we were lucky to have Josie come with us.  The boys loved showing her the massive tree house climbing thing.  

 I was also able to climb with the boys, but thought that I was going to get stuck and would never be able to get out.

 Lily was so good just to hang out and watch her brothers run around.

 Landon had a great time painting the rocket ship.

 And who can forget the "car" wash?

 We went at a perfect time this year because all of the kids in Phoenix were already in school, so we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves.  What a fun afternoon.

We had such a fun time that the museum was closing up when we were leaving.  The kids were all exhausted that they all fell asleep on the way back to Grandma's house.

Splash Pad Fun

 Is there anything better than playing in the water on a hot Phoenix night.

 The boys had such a fun time playing in the water and eating frozen yogurt.

 Lily loved chillin in her stroller, enjoying the lights in the water and listening to her brothers laugh.  Grandpa, and Josie were able to come with us.  It was so nice just to watch my silly boys and be with each other.

Butterfly Museum

 This summer while in Phoenix, Josie found this really awesome museum to go to.  It is a butterfly museum and we got to see a really neat 3D movie about butterfly migration.  Immediately as we sat down Landon asked me where that popcorn and drinks were.  Maybe that means I take the kids to too many movies. 

 After the movie we went into a room where they had butterflies waiting to be hatched.  It was very neat to see all the different kinds. 

 After that we went in to the butterfly room, and WOW was this place amazing.  It was a room full of thousands of different kinds of butterflies and some of them landed on us.

Right before we were about to leave a butterfly finally landed on Ethan's head.  He was so happy he had been waiting patiently for one to say hi.

The butterfly's loved Abu.  a few minutes after going into the butterfly room they were landing on him.  Everyone was able to have a butterfly land on them except Josie.  Maybe next time Sis.  What a fun afternoon.  I am so glad we were able to go and learn about butterfly's and have fun with Grandma, Josie, and Abu.  

Hangin' Out

 We were so lucky to be able to go to Phoenix this summer and spend some time with Grandpa and Grandma Nelson, and Josie and Abu.  Aaron was so sweet to fly us down instead of having us drive the 12 hours in the car.  Thanks Aaron! 

Lily was such a good sleeper, in the crib, in Grandpa and Grandma's room.  It was nice not to hear every little noise she made.  The boys loved saying good morning and hanging out in her bed too.  I sure do love these three.

Little Landon

  This is my Landon he is such a sweet boy, but a little ball of energy when he is awake.  I love being home with him playing cars, trains, or reading a story.  To my beautiful boy I love you so much.  Keep making us smile.

In Love

 The boys are so in love with their little sister.  Landon is always giving her hugs and kisses, and Ethan is always talking to her and holding her.

 Lily is so in love with her brothers.  She immediately locks her eyes on them when they are close to her.  She loves to stare at Ethan during dinner while I am holding her and she is always smiling at him.  It is truly the cutest thing ever.

It is so fun to see these beautiful little ones growing up.  I am so blessed to be their Mother.
