When Ethan and Landon were little Aaron used to pull them around the house on a blanket. They loved it and would pretty much ask him to do it every night. Landon decided to let Lily in on the fun. I am not sure how much she liked it, but I know in time she will be the one bringing her Dad a blanket to pull her around the house on.

Happy Birthday!
This post is a little bitter sweet. I celebrated my 32nd birthday this December. It is strange to think that I am that old/young. I still feel like I just graduated high school, but my Dad tells me that he still feels that way too. I had to work this year on my birthday, but that is ok because I love my job and I was able to go to birthday lunch with my office.
I was running a lot before I got pregnant with Lily, but since I got so sick during the pregnancy I just got out of the routine. I asked Aaron, and the kids for some things to help me get back into the habit.
I got wireless headphones that I can download music to to keep my running pace. I also received a Withings pedometer. It is so sweet! It tracks my steps, heart rate, the miles I have gone, calories burned, and how many hours I sleep. It has an app that it syncs to on my phone. I have really loved having it to motivate me to get my butt moving.
I also got a new phone!! My old one was so slow and wouldn't keep a charge. I also got a Withings Scale that can download my progress to my phone on the Withings app. It is so fun having a husband who knows how to buy good tech things. I also got a book from Lizzy (which I am already half way through), a new pair of pants from my parents, a pizza stone and cookie rack from Josie, and money from my wonderful in-laws. It is nice to be so loved. Thank you Aaron for making my December birthday truly special. You make a delicious chocolate cake :)

6 Months
Wow! We can hardly believe that our little girl is 6 months old.
Lily is our little roller. She is has been rolling since about 5 months. If you put her on her back she will immediately roll onto her tummy, unless she can hold onto her toes.
Lily is still a really great sleeper. She takes 3 to 4 naps a day and goes to bed at around 6pm. She does wake up once in the middle of the night to be changed and fed, but goes right back to sleep until 7:30am. I really love snuggling her in the middle of the night.
Lily loves to play in her jumper. She is so cute spinning around in the chair and playing with all the toys surrounding her.
Lily is loving eating "real" food. She wasn't sure at first about peas, but she really loves eating all of the fruits and veggies now. She also loves her oatmeal and rice cereal. I love that she is such a good eater.
Lily has also started to scoot/crawl around. Pretty much anything on the floor she finds her way to and sticks it into her mouth. I have told the boys many times that they can not leave their Lego's on the floor. Hopefully someday they will pick them all up after playing.
6 Months Stats
Height: 26 inches,60%
Weight: 14.2 lbs, 20%
Head Circ.: 16.5 inches, 30%
Lily is still tall is slim for her age group, but you couldn't tell by her cheeks. We are so in love with our little girl and hope she continues to be happy and grow.

Basketball Season
Ethan started his basketball season this November and December.
He was so excited to have some of his friends from school on his team. It was so fun to see them running around together and having a good time.
Since this was Ethan's second year, his coach really worked on guarding skills and keeping your hands/arms up to block the ball. It was a little sad playing some of the teams that would just grab the ball as soon as our boys would get it, but hopefully as the kids get older they will all learn how to play as a team.
We all loved going to watch Ethan play. We are hoping Landon will be able to play next year.

Happy Birthday Landon!
Ok, so this post is a month late, but better late then never.
Landon turned 4 this year, and how the time has flown. If you have spent any time with Landon you would know that he loves everything about cars. So what better way to celebrate his 4th year then to have a car party. He was able to invite 4 friends from the neighborhood and preschool. He was so excited to have them all there. We brought down the car rugs from the play room so all the boys could play with cars while waiting for everyone to arrive.
Once everyone was there we had a pin the light on Mater. The kids had a really fun time being spun around and trying to put their sticker on Mater's head light.
After Mater received his light, Aaron broke out the race cars. He bought each boy a little race car and built a track for them to race on. It was so much fun to see them racing and having such a good time.
I was super lame this year and didn't feel up to making Landon's cake. I ordered one instead. It was ok because all the kids did was lick the frosting off of their cupcakes and left the cake.
Landon and Colby racing cars
We also had a cars pinata. It was perfect for these boys because it was a pull string and only one of the strings would open the trap door. It was nice not to worry about anyone getting hit with a bat.
Ethan is really into making the peace sign while taking pictures. I don't know where he learned it, but it is pretty funny.
Landon's friends were so sweet to bring him presents. He had a really great time and I hope he has a wonderful year.
Happy Birthday Landon! We love you and are so glad you are in our family.

Big Brother
Lily loves her big brother. She is always laughing and smiling at Ethan.
He loves to hold and talk to her, and she loves to talk back.
Best friends already.

Toes
Lily has discovered her toes. The only time she will stay on her back, and not roll over, is when she can hold onto her toes. It is so cute to see her grab for them when I am changing her diaper and have her try to stick them in her mouth. She is such an adorable baby. We sure love this toe grabber.

Trick-or-Treat
Landon was so excited to finally go Trick-or-Treating.
Aaron made it home just in time to go out with us. We left a bowl of candy on the porch and headed to our neighbors houses.
It was cold when we started so we bundled our little tinker bell up and strapped her in the stroller. Ethan and Landon both tried to take the seat next to her, but I informed them that if they wanted candy they would have to walk. Both boys refused to wear jackets. Landon later gave in because he was so cold, but Ethan never did. He is just like his Dad that way. I don't think that he ever gets cold.
Lily was ready for bed right when we made it down one side of the street. So Aaron ran back home with her and got her ready for bed while the boys and I finished going up the other side of the street. We have such a great neighborhood to trick-or-treat in. It was so much fun holding Landon's hand and walking from house to house while Ethan was running ahead. They are such wonderful boys. Lily is very lucky to have them as older brothers.
